This is my 365th post, beginning with my Flickr project and continuing onto this blog. This isn’t the final post, though, since we had a leap year in there. To really do a full year of photos, I need just one more… tune in tomorrow to see it!

In Spokane’s Riverfront Park, there’s a statue of astronaut Michael Anderson. He was one of the 7 astronauts on the Space Shuttle Columbia that broke apart on re-entry in 2003. You can read more about the man right here.
Please note: He is not the same Mr. Anderson that entered the Matrix in 1999… that was this guy. Just in case there was any confusion. 😉
The closest I get to macro photography is what you’re seeing right now. It’s nothing personal, I just don’t happen to own a macro lens. As a result, I sometimes take pseudo-macro and not-quite-macro photos that use a close-up, zoomed-in depth of field rather than buying or renting a macro lens and learning the technique for real. Maybe someday that’ll change.
