In my never-ending search for the perfect beverage (ok, it’s not really all that serious), I’m always eager to try something new. The hope is that I’ll stumble upon something that, for at least a period of time, becomes my favorite; the thing I’d rather have than anything else; the one I can’t do without if stranded on a desert island. Ladies; gentlemen… This is that beverage.
Now let’s be honest, I’m not a huge boozer but I do like my beers and ales. If you have a chance to get your hands on one of these, do yourself a favor and grab one. Then drink it. You won’t be sorry!
Rather than try and get a closeup shot of the moon, with all the surface detail that we’ve come to expect from that type of shot, I opted for the really far away pinpoint of light shot. I used a really wide angle shot with a slow shutter speed to get the extra halo and blurriness, and then cropped the heck out of it. It ain’t the most perfect moon shot, but it’s exactly the one I wanted. 🙂
Typically, photos of San Francisco Bay are taken from San Francisco, or from boats out on the Bay, or from the bridge. What I haven’t really seen all that often, though, are photos of both the Bay and the city from this angle. To me, this really puts into perspective exactly how hilly the city is, and how much the layout follows a definite grid pattern. You also get to see the infamous San Fran fog, which no one should ever miss.
And yes, we’re finally caught back up, as this is, in fact, Saturday’s photo!

Still a day behind, but hoping to use this weekend to get caught up again. Here’s Friday’s photo, please enjoy!
This was originally yesterday’s photo, but as usual I’m a little late posting it. Friday’s photo is coming later today, so enjoy this one and stay tuned!
Another abstract for your enjoyment.
